This is the serpentine drive belt tensioner for 2004-2008 Chevrolet Kodiak and GMC Topkick C6500, 2004-2009 Kodiak/Topkick C7500 and C8500 trucks. This mounts on the front of the engine and keeps tension on the serpentine belt on these trucks. This is for the caterpillar, diesel engine (Code LG5). This tensioner was manufactured by Dayco for GM. Replace your old part with this brand new factory original part from GM at a fraction of the dealer price.
