This is the dash vent outlet for the right side in 2008 Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass vehicles. This color option was only available for this year, although this part will fit Patriot and Compass vehicles from 2007-2012. This part mounts on the right side of the dashboard in these vehicles. This part is a dark grey part that Jeep calls Dark Slate Grey. This part does not have chrome on the adjustment knob. Replace your old, broken vent with this brand new factory Jeep part.
