This is the emission control module (ECU/ECM) for 2008-2009 GMC Topkick and Chevrolet Kodiak C6500, C7500, C8500, T6500, T7500, and T8500 trucks with diesel engines. This module can be used for C6500-C8500 trucks, but this part comes with the mounting bracket for T6500-T8500 trucks. You will need to remove the ECU from the bracket to use on the "C" model trucks. This module controls the diesel engines functions. This module was manufactured by Denso for General Motors. Replace your old, faulty, malfunctioning module with this brand new factory original part from General Motors at a fraction of the dealer price.
