This is the dashboard mounted sentinel light sensor for many different GM vehicles from 2004-2015. This mounts on the dashboard up near the windshield and measures the light coming into it. This sensor controls the daytime running lamps, headlights, etc. This is for vehicles without the automatic temperature control.
